This event aims to shed light on the human side of addiction, offering a platform for those who have battled with substance use disorders and navigated the perilous landscape of the fentanyl epidemic.
Our esteemed panelists, comprising individuals with lived experience as well as professionals in the field of addictions and homelessness, will provide firsthand narratives that delve into the complexities of addiction, homelessness, and the fentanyl crisis. They will discuss challenges they encountered, the barriers they faced in accessing treatment, and the strategies they employed to overcome adversity and provide support services to others.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the panelists, ask questions, and participate in a dialogue that fosters empathy, understanding, and solidarity. By amplifying the voices of those affected by addiction and the fentanyl crisis, this panel aims to dispel stigma, promote compassion, and inspire collective action towards community wellness.
