The Middle Years Index illustrates that approximately one in four children in British Columbia experience a diminished and below average sense of well-being at school. Racialized (black, indigenous, and youth of colour) experience higher rates of unemployment, lower labour earnings, are more likely to drop out of high school, & less likely to live independently (Statistics Canada).

CREAN is a youth-led charity fighting for a brighter future for under-served youth in British Columbia. We have deep relationships in the community and intimate knowledge of the challenges facing youth today.

Donations help us provide essential resources for our youth programming, including afterschool support, job skills training, and employment placements.
